Kindergarten
Kindergarten at Ashford is a full school day in a small class, in the building your child already knows. Mornings are for reading, writing and math in small groups. Afternoons are for science, projects, art, music and time outside.
Families who need care before and after school do not need a second provider. Your child stays with us from drop-off to pickup, on the same hours as the rest of the academy.

Questions Parents Ask About the Kindergarten Room
Is my child old enough for kindergarten?
Children who turn five by September 1 can start kindergarten that fall, the same cutoff Illinois public schools use. If your child's birthday is close to the cutoff, ask us and we will talk it through.
Is there care before and after the school day?
Yes. Kindergarten children can arrive at 6:30 AM and stay until 6:00 PM, the same as every other room.
