Terms of use for the Ashford Academy website

1. Who may use the Site

The Site is for parents, legal guardians and adults acting on their behalf. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a form. By submitting information about a child you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or are authorized by one, and that the information is accurate.

2. Tour requests

A tour request is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We will contact you to confirm a date and time. Tours may be rescheduled or cancelled by either party. For the safety of enrolled children, visitors must sign in, present photo identification and remain with staff while in the building.

3. Enrollment requests

• Submitting an enrollment request starts the enrollment process. It does not guarantee a spot, a start date or a tuition rate.
• Enrollment is complete only when we confirm availability in writing, you sign the enrollment agreement, provide the health, immunization and emergency forms required by Illinois licensing rules, and pay the registration fee and any deposit stated in that agreement.
• Tuition, fees, schedules, holidays, late pick-up charges, withdrawal notice periods and refund terms are set out in the enrollment agreement and the Parent Handbook, which control over anything on this Site.
• Waitlist placement is offered in the order requests are confirmed, subject to age, classroom ratios and licensing capacity.

4. Site content

Program descriptions, hours, ratios, features and photographs on the Site are provided for general information and may change without notice. Some photographs are representative stock imagery and do not depict Ashford classrooms or enrolled children. Nothing on the Site is medical, developmental or educational advice for a specific child. Ashford Academy is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services; licensing details are available on request.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, impersonate another person, submit information about a child you are not authorized to share, use automated tools to submit forms, or attempt to access, probe or disrupt the Site or its systems. We may decline or cancel any request that we believe violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Ashford Academy name, logo, curriculum names and Site content are owned by Ashford Academy or its licensors and may not be copied or used without written permission, except to view the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashford Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including obligations under state child care regulations or under a signed enrollment agreement.

8. Communications

By providing a phone number or email address you agree that we may contact you about your request by phone, email or text message. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

9. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, unless your enrollment agreement provides otherwise. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
