Toddlers
Toddlers want to do everything themselves, and the toddler room is set up to let them. Shelves are low, sinks are toddler height, and there is room to climb, push, carry and dump.
This is the year language takes off. Teachers name everything, repeat what children say back to them in full sentences, and read to small groups several times a day.

Questions Parents Ask About the Toddler Room
Do toddlers nap on a schedule?
Yes, one nap after lunch on individual cots. Children who wake early have quiet activities.
How do you handle biting?
It is common at this age. We shadow the child, teach words for what they want, and tell both families the same day. We do not name the other child.
